WELCOME to your EVES PTA
Why we PTA?
We LOVE our children, we LOVE education, and we LOVE our EVES families! This grassroots organization provides the opportunity to work together with teachers, families, and school administration to better support our EVES children. It’s a collaborative effort to make dreams a reality by creating a better world through a strong education, love for learning, and developing a connections. We aim to support all people through an acceptance and understanding of the many diverse cultures in our community, as well as globally. It is our desire that this belief and support be available for ALL children, nationwide; to be healthy, to be safe, and to receive an equal and inclusive education.

National PTA has established programs and called for legislation that improves our children’s lives, such as:
- Creation of kindergarten classes
- Child labor laws
- Public health service
- Hot and healthy lunch programs
- Juvenile justice system
- Mandatory immunization
- Arts in Education
- School Safety
Why PTA, not PTO?
3 Simple Reasons:
1. This membership provides our local group with tools and resources that makes our jobs of organizing easier. Just one example of this is that all of the administrative work that is involved with being a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit is filed and maintained for us.
2. EVES PTA does handle money through the few fundraisers we have and held events for families of Eagle Valley. The membership to the organization provides our local unit members a protection through a very affordable insurance policy. It has been priced out by our Treasurer, and to invest in our own insurance, it would cost us triple the amount we now pay.
3. Our awareness that we are a nation of many children, families, and teachers, impassions us to be part of a group that is bigger than us. We choose to be part of the One Voice for Every Child.
Become A Member Today
Become a member today! The cost is $10 dollars a school year. Membership renewal is due with every new school year. But, any one can pay for the renewal or become a new member at any time during the school year.
