UPDATE FROM THE P.E. DEPARTMENT

This school year, EVES raised $991.50 for the American Heart Association.  If your child participated in this fundraiser, please take the time to congratulate them on their hard work and effort in helping others improve their physical fitness and overall health.

Field Day has been set for Thursday, May 31st from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on the field at EVMS.  We are again using the EVMS field because teachers and students seemed to benefit from the proximity to our own school last year and EVMS has graciously agreed to let us borrow their field again this year.  If we get rained out this day, the makeup day will be Tuesday, June 5th at the same time.  As the date gets closer, please check for any updates that may occur.

EAGLE PUBLIC LIBRARY NEWS

ART IN THE AFTERNOONS!   Kids in grades K-5 are invited to join Eagle Public Library every Thursday afternoon in April for a special craft.  We will meet from 3:30-4:30 in the large meeting room.  For more information, call Patty or Ruby at 328-8800.

SPRING BREAK MOVIE!  Kids in grades K & up are invited to the library to watch “Secondhand Lions” (PG), on Tuesday, April 10th, from 2-4 p.m.  Popcorn & drinks provided.
